A quick discussion at work brought up a few variations on Blame Storming.
- “Puddle splash”: When there’s a problem, stamp on it, hopefully the problem will hit enough people so that they’re blamed along with you.
- “Blame herding”: If you’re on your own, you’re more likely to be the one that’s attacked. If you spread the blame so there’s more of you, the chances of you being the one attacked diminishes.
I still like “Blame storming”, the title just fits what it’s describing quite elegantly.
