Why I have to wear a tie at work

I just read a post by Miszou over at The Code Project which explains why I have to wear a tie to work.

To quote “You know that a tie is nothing more than a collar, right? It’s a means of asserting dominance and status over people. By wearing a tie, you are publicly showing your subservience.”

That doesn’t surprise me 🙂 Dilbert is so close to the mark in every company I’ve worked at it’s as though he has a web cam watching the offices I’ve worked in!
