Last thu night my friend Phil congratulated me on getting a Canon 400D for christmas (Big Grin), he then explained that I ought to get an ultra violet filter for my camera, this would protect the lens from any scratches or minor knocks. Damn good idea I thought, so on Fri I bought one from Jessops
It only cost £14 and considering a new lens could be upwards of £100 is a small price to pay for saving the lens from scratching. The back of the pack the filter came in says “…also used to protect the camera lens”! The best thing is once screwed onto the lens, the camera cover still fits, so there’s no need to remove it once fitted!
