Back in my Uni days I had an argument with a fellow computer programmer about how and if SoftRAM worked. Neither of us would back down; my argument was that it couldn't work as RAM was finite in the machine, you gain more RAM you would have to install hardware. My colleague argued that it managed memory more effectively and really did double the RAM in your system.
